Our house specialty Old Fashioned seeks to bring the flavors of the Pacific Northwest into this most classic of whiskey cocktails. To integrate the local terroir and show appreciation for the immaculate natural world that surrounds us in Washington, we add a touch of Brovo Distilling’s Douglas Fir Liqueur; this adds a touch of freshness and resinous flavor reminiscent of bright citrus. Additionally, to highlight the agrarian traditions of the state we use specialty bitters with hints of stone fruit, giving our old fashioned a whisper of fruit behind the bold flavor of our Bar Boss Whiskey. To finish our cocktail, we use a lemon zest to highlight the brightness of the Douglas fir, as well as using locally grown and spiced Swizzle Cherries.
